Made of layered 100% wool felt and merino wool roving, which was needle-felted to form the mounded two-tone pit and bumpy brown skin.

There are 4 layers of 100% wool felt, 2 deep brown, one dark green, and one avocado green, hand drawn and cut to form the body. The pit was made of merino wool fibers in 2 tones of warm brown, sculpted and needle-felted securely to the body. After securing the layers with cotton embroidery floss, the brown skin was given a layer of merino wool fiber to give it a bumpy avocado texture. Securely stitched to the back is a 1 inch bar pin.

This one-of-a-kind pin measures 2.5 inches tall.

The unique cherry bead on top came from another delightful shop on Etsy -
CandyLandBeads and is made from polymer clay.

This hair clip has SMALL PARTS - while the bead has been securely stitched to the cupcake, it is NOT recommended for children under the age of 3 due to choking hazard. Please supervise your child while wearing, and do not let any age child place the cupcake in their mouth.

Strawberry Cream Pinwheel Lollipop Hair Clip

I think I must be having too much fun with my new camera!  Today I took it with us to the park and got some cute shots of Julia in her strawberry cream glory.  Definitely the only type of lollipop you want stuck in your hair at the playground is this wool felt hair clip variety!!

The neatest feature of the park near our house is the water fountains.  By pressing buttons, Julia can control when the sprinklers come on - she loves to turn them on, then run away squealing!

Gingerbread Man Hair Clip or Pin Brooch

I woke up at 3:30 and couldn't go back to sleep, so I took advantage of the quiet and started work on my holiday designs.  This is the first of them, after my poll popular vote of Gingerbread Man.  I think I'll also do a Gingerbread Girl... feedback and suggestions are greatly appreciated (like other color suggestions, etc.)!
