Featured in Bakersfield Southwest Voice
I feel very privileged to live in the wonderful community of Bakersfield! A fellow Etsy crafter, and Bakersfield resident, Jaime Johnson of JaimeSews, wrote a fantastic article for the local free publication, The Southwest Voice. As soon as I'm able to pick up a hard copy, I'm going to scan the whole article (and the cover, my whale hair clip is the feature photo!!!) and post it! Here is a screen shot showing the article and cover from the website of the newspaper.

Small Holly Berry Hair Clip or Pin
By popular demand, I've created a smaller version of the holly berry hair clip. The larger version measures just about 2.5 inches long, enclosing a 2 inch snap clip. The smaller replica is just under 1.5 inches long and encloses a 1.25 inch snap clip. More appropriate for babies with little or fine hair than the larger version, but is also useful for keeping back the fly-away hairs in big girls too.

Etsy Front Page - Zara Zebra - October 19, 2008
Hurrah! This darling treasury of chic black and white baby items, made by Zadyball, went all the way to the front page yesterday!
I opened my Etsy page to see 300 hits on my Zara Zebra, and thought, "Front Page!!!!" I immediately went looking for a screenshot of it, and finally found it today on Flickr. Yippee for super treasuries!

Strawberry Cream Pinwheel Lollipop Hair Clip
I think I must be having too much fun with my new camera! Today I took it with us to the park and got some cute shots of Julia in her strawberry cream glory. Definitely the only type of lollipop you want stuck in your hair at the playground is this wool felt hair clip variety!!
The neatest feature of the park near our house is the water fountains. By pressing buttons, Julia can control when the sprinklers come on - she loves to turn them on, then run away squealing!
Fall Lamb - Lulu Lamb Hair Clip or Pin
Sweet, soft, and playful, Lulu Lamb will endear herself to you and your youngster. Fittingly, she is made of 100% wool felt, and encloses a 1.5 inch snap clip, French clip, or a pin back.
